Cannonball Arts members are invited to the opening reception of Let There Be Light, a group exhibition that embraces the figure as a site of continual exploration. Curated by Anthony White, the exhibition brings together a compelling roster of twenty artists whose work resists fixed definitions of the body, prescribed materials, or singular historical readings of “the figure.” Instead, the range of materials, mediums, and approaches represented in the show reflects visual art’s enduring impulse to examine bodies, their boundaries, and the beauty, grotesquerie, and absurdity that define them.
Let There Be Light will occupy Cannonball Arts’ South Gallery, which has been fully reimagined through a custom exhibition design created specifically for this presentation.

The evening marks a major celebratory moment at Cannonball Arts featuring a lively cash bar, music, and special entertainment throughout the night—a rare chance to experience multiple new exhibitions at once, gather with artists and friends, and kick off an unforgettable arts season.
