Created by the producers of Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival, the space carries the festival’s spirit beyond Labor Day weekend, supporting artists, creating opportunities, and giving Seattle new ways to experience art and music throughout the year.
CONTEMPORARY ART
Our second floor showcases contemporary art by artists from across the Pacific Northwest, with additional installations extending throughout the building.
Open Space Saturdays invite the public to explore the exhibitions in a casual, welcoming environment. Admission is Pay What You Can, making the work accessible to anyone curious enough to come upstairs.
LEVEL 1
Located beneath the art space, Level 1 is a dance music venue built around house, techno and experimental electronic music.
With a phone-free dance floor and a world-class Danley sound system, Level 1 creates an immersive experience centered on the music, the artists and the people in the room.
Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival
Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival has brought generations of artists and audiences together at Seattle Center for more than 50 years.
Presented every Labor Day weekend, Bumbershoot celebrates music, visual art, performance, fashion, film, comedy, food and the creative culture of the Pacific Northwest. The work happening here gives that same experimental, multidisciplinary spirit a home throughout the year.
BumberWorks
BumberWorks creates hands-on pathways into the creative industries for emerging artists, producers and behind-the-scenes talent.
Through workshops, mentorship and real-world experience, participants learn directly from working professionals and gain practical insight into careers across music, events, marketing, production and the arts.
